New construction Clouth site / Clouth final road construction – The Clouth Quarter is an exemplary transformation project for urban development and the reuse of industrial sites. A traditional rubber goods factory that has been closed down is being transformed into a residential neighbourhood for around 3,000 people.
The public spaces and urban greenery have been carefully designed to encourage social interaction and foster a sense of community. The historic factory buildings, which are under heritage protection, have been lovingly restored and converted into modern residential structures, seamlessly integrating new architectural elements.
The result is a unique fusion of past and present, where the site’s history remains alive, while also providing space for contemporary living.
