Site Supervisor / Foreperson / Master Gardener (m/f/d)

You identify with the projects in our Green Services and Maintenance department, and working as a Site Supervisor is what drives you every day. You stay on top of things and lead one of our on-site teams with a people-focused and goal-oriented approach.

Your Responsibilities

  • Independently managing a large planting site with complex existing vegetation that serves as a green showcase for the client (approx. 75% of working time)
  • Organizing and ensuring smooth operations on-site: assigning team members, recording measurements, tracking hours, completing documentation and photo records
  • Using your decision-making freedom to optimize workflows and solve logistical and organizational challenges on-site
  • Leading the site team, including responsibility for any apprentices assigned
  • Defining daily targets and ensuring the expected work results are achieved
  • Acting as the main point of contact on-site for the client
  • Communicating with the site manager regarding project execution and reporting complications such as bad weather, workplace accidents, or employee illness
  • Ensuring all on-site safety regulations are followed
  • Serving as a communication bridge between the office and the on-site team

Your Profile

  • Certified Master Gardener in landscaping and a completed vocational training as a gardener, or alternatively a skilled trade qualification with experience in the gardening industry
  • Strong plant knowledge, including pest identification, deficiency symptoms, and fertilization management
  • In-depth landscaping expertise
  • Willingness to take full responsibility for site operations
  • Proven experience in team leadership
  • Assertiveness, resilience, organizational skills, reliability, and flexibility
  • Good technical and spatial awareness
  • Structured and independent work style with strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in spoken and written German
  • Driver’s license class B, ideally also class BE
